![]() Actually, the word Bergamot comes from Bergamo, a town in Italy. ![]() With a yellowish-green color that looks almost like a lemon or lime, but with a taste that is even more bitter than grapefruit, Bergamot orange is the fruit of the Citrus bergamia, a small tree that blooms in the winter and is native to southern Italy. For fragrance, my Le Labo Rose 31 EdP I bought last November is still going strong as my favorite scent.Did you know that bergamot is a type of orange? Yes, and that gives away a lot of information about how bergamot smells like. They’re still on sale at KICKS, so I highly recommend checking them out (the ones in duo color jars). For me, they’re worth the price, but if I want to really enjoy a punchy scent I light one of my MON|SUN candles. While I love the scents and the packaging, the throw isn’t very intense, but I’m not very sensitive to smell in general and my nose quickly gets used to room fragrances. Candle Co., they have tempting selection scents and various candle sizes. Scent: I stocked up on some scented candles in late summer, and now is the perfect dimly lit (borderline dark) season to enjoy them! I have a few scents from P.F. If you’re curious, I linked the exact models: Apple Magic Keyboard MLA22, Mozi AR-2 BaseStand laptop stand, and Logitech MX Master 2S mouse (on sale as I’m typing this!) I will always be a trackpad user but having the option to use a good mouse speeds up my editing process. Typing with a proper keyboard (trust me, don’t get the cheapest one!! It’ll ruin your wrists and your sanity) is such a pleasure. Once you try you don’t want to go back – you don’t even want to hold your cellphone too low anymore. Believe me, it makes a world of a difference! Working on a laptop has become a much more relaxing experience when my head can rest in a natural position. I decided to invest a laptop stand, a separate Bluetooth keyboard, and a mouse, so I wouldn’t strain my neck. In the past, I’ve been too lazy or uncomfortable to wear it, but a visit to the dentist encouraged me to do more for my dental health. I can’t really stop grinding my teeth in my sleep, so I started wearing a mouth guard again. Probably due to stress and poor work ergonomics. I hope the covid situation doesn’t get worse in Finland, I’d love to take classes and do activities outside the home.Įrgonomics: I started experiencing severe tension (again) on my neck and jaw that often triggered a headache (luckily not migraine). If I can’t find the “time” during a hectic day, I do a quick headstand and take five deep breaths. That’s why drawing or challenging yoga has been really relaxing for me. I realized I’m not a person who can sit still and meditate to clear their head I need to concentrate on something and flow in order to relax. I started introducing more physical activity in my weekly routine, take some extra time to catch sleep, do more careful planning and goal setting. Taking care of yourself feels like a privilege sometimes. ![]() When my poor mood started to improve, I also started to work on my wellness in general. Now I want and choose to be kind and hopeful. Growing up I thought I was a pessimistic realistic, but I think I’ve changed to the opposite. The poor mood will pass, things that at the moment seem unattainable and impossible can be learned and worked on. While there were moments of frustration with creativity and social media, I gained more experience in how to be kinder to myself overall. Mind: While July and August were a struggle for me, September was a very nice month.
